“Brought a 400 pages monster. All the eyes were needed to make a novel out of it. Villa Waldberta gave me the amazing privilege of time and quiet to work on it, I hope, one day I can give something back.”
(Manuel Jorge Marmelo, Portugal)
We offer the time and space for open-ended, creative processes. These are more important to us than a perfect final product.
We create encounters, exchanges, and networks in the Munich scene as well as in the “Five Lakes Region” with different event formats.
„It was a great stay in Munich, filled with warm memories, good conversations and interesting encounters.“
(Jakob Kukula, Germany)
We have partnerships with cultural institutions and artists in Munich. You can find out how you can become a partner in the residence program here.
Our partnerships„… what a productive and introspective time I have had while here. I was able to work on my book of short stories. I enjoyed the peace and quiet and didn’t miss either sights or lights!“
